Charged me 1hr for 10min of work but whatever. Only thing dealership had to do was Flash/program the BCM after I installed it so the car knew they were there. There is no reason it cant have just a little love.Īnother Side note, I was able to get the 'Valet' side view mirrors that have the special valet light and turn signal built in. I get that its just a dart and not a Charger or Challenger, but its just my commuter car. Even included the warning labels to place under the hood and the hood latch interlock, zip-ties, New grommet and sealant putty for the firewall, and the same directions the dealership uses to install the darn thing. Not that it matters but with my wifes Scion it was easy to find out what the OEM kit PN was and install on my own for hundreds of $$ cheaper than the dealership. When I have gone into my local dealer the parts department doesnt seem to know how to find what parts are needed and the service department says they are too busy to help me figure it out. Whenever I have emailed dealerships regarding this subject I either never get a response or they direct me to come into the dealership in person to discuss it. I also found out that in order to get the Blackout edition you had to have the Rallye package (which i have) I am assuming the Rallye package contains a BCM or ECU that is needed to run the OEM remote start but no one can tell me what PN's are needed to install the OEM remote start to a Blackout Edition so I cannot verify which parts are needed to make it work on the Rallye edition. I have found that Dodge DID offer an OEM option of remote start on these later models but it only came on the Blackout edition. I dont want aftermarket for multiple reasons. Everyone everywhere keeps saying there is no OEM option for my 2015 SXT 2.4L and that I have to go aftermarket.
